    Week: 7

Symptoms: soooo tired...cravings are hitting hard, and I literally must have bionic smell

Rants/Raves/Stories: I'm trying to convince myself that it's a good thing the exhaustion is hitting now so I can get used to going back to work before students come, but I'm just so ridiculously tired...

Questions for the group? Anyone else turned off by meat or the smell of the bbq grill?

GTKY: Favorite season and why? Fall though I don't get to experience it the way I love it living in Florida. I love the crispness, I love the clothing options, I love the leaves changing, football, bonfire parties...

  • Week: 6

Symptoms: sore boobs and so ready for bedtime every night

Rants/Raves/Stories: we went to my parents' house for dinner the other night and my mom asked if I wanted a drink so I said no. She said "I know, but don't you want a water or something?" (Apparently they figured it out the weekend before when they came to visit us at the shore and I didn't have any beers on the beach) So later during dinner I said "can I have some more? I'm eating for 2 until April" to make it "official" and announce to my brothers & my Pop Pop (who were surprised). We were planning on waiting to tell them until after my first appointment, but it seemed silly since they obviously knew. They were very excited, just not surprised lol.

Questions for the group? Nothing right now

GTKY: Favorite season and why? Summer! I love being outside and going to the beach, and I really like the seasonal summer beers. I live in PA so nice warm weather and sunshine are limited.
  • Week: 8

    Symptoms: Fatigue and moodiness

Rants/Raves/Stories: NBR, but buying and selling houses is so damn stressful. It's 8am and I've already cried today.

    Questions for the group?

GTKY: Favorite season and why? Summer. I live near the beach. Enough said!

    Symptoms: Cramping and exhaustion

Rants/Raves/Stories: the gloomy weather is not helping with my exhaustion. Need to get to the gym stat!

    Questions for the group? Nope!

GTKY: Favorite season and why? Fall. Love the weather, football, school starting and both of my girls have October birthdays

  • Week:  7

Symptoms: Nausea, Aversion to bread, pasta and cereal (who has an aversion to bread? WTF, self?)

Rants/Raves/Stories:  My SIL is pregnant (due a few weeks before me) and FIL is so excited. We have a 13 month old already. He said "I'm going to go from 1 to 3 grandbabies at the same time. I'm going to have to retire just to see them all!"

    Questions for the group? Nada

GTKY: Favorite season and why? Fall. EVERYTHING PUMPKIN AND IDGAF

  • Week: 7

Symptoms: Nausea, nausea, nausea. A dull, constant food aversion nausea all day long. No puking though so that's a plus!

Rants/Raves/Stories: My 11 month old is still waking up 3+ times per night. He was up at 2:30am today and ready to play! I'm getting ready to go back to work (teacher) and so not looking forward to being nauseous, sleep deprived and expected to perform! What did I get myself into?!

Questions for the group? Not at the moment.

GTKY: Favorite season and why? FALL! There's something about the beginning of a school year (new pencils, fresh kids, energized teachers, new beginnings) that is just wonderful! Also the temperature, boots, sweaters etc. Sooooo looking forward to a winter pregnancy!

Omg I wish I had an aversion to bread!! I don't eat gluten for health reasons and all I can think about is PIZZA and CEREAL!!
  • Week: 7

Symptoms: Nausea, sore boobs, exhaustion, moodiness, breaking out on my chest (BOO!), bloating.

Rants/Raves/Stories: Every day my 4 year old says "Mommy, I think there's a baby in your belly." but since we've had two miscarriages (one of which he knows about—which devastated him) we are keeping mum for the time being. I can't wait to say "Yep, there is, you're going to be a big brother!"

Questions for the group? Nothing right now.

GTKY: Favorite season and why? Like most others, Fall. I love sweaters, knitting, my woodstove, holding (and drinking) warm cups of honey-laced tea, and curling up with a blanket over my lap with a good book. Oh, and pumpkin spice everything.

  • Week: 7

Symptoms: super tired and boobs are a little sore.

Rants/stories/raves: my toddler wants to be held ALL day long. And not held when I'm sitting, she wants me to walk around with her. Omg I love her more than anything but it's driving me nutty and making me so tired. We are working on the meltdowns when she doesn't get what she wants but man that's draining too

    Questions: I'm good :)

Favorite season: definitely fall! I love the colors, the crisp feel to the air, football fun, and it leads up to the holidays!

    Week: 7

Symptoms: Nausea-luckily it hits a lot in the evening so I can get through the day without feeling awful.  I also feel so tired all the time.

Rants/Raves/Stories: I'm having a hard time not being snippy to DH in the evenings.  I try really hard most days but after being up all day- either taking care of DD or working- then I start feeling sick, I just struggle with it.  He's a sensitive man so I'm hoping to start doing better about it.

Questions for the group? Does anyone's boobs not hurt?  With DD that was the very first symptom and it lasted til 12 weeks- this time they haven't started hurting yet.  Makes me nervous!  I miscarried my first pregnancy so everything freaks me out.

GTKY: Favorite season and why? FALL.  I love the cooler weather after such a hot summer.  The leaves falling off the trees, pumpkins and getting ready for the holidays.  Ready for leggings and t-shirts!

I haven't tried Pizza yet, I'm seriously hoping I can stomach that bc if I can't eat pizza I don't want to live on this planet.

My breasts barely hurt. Only when I push on the sides...

    Week: 7

Symptoms: Barely any. Minimal breast soreness. Occasional mild cramps.

Rants/Raves/Stories:  I am counting the hours til my next ultrasound on friday. After everything we've been through, I just want to go in there and see a healthy embryo with a healthy heartbeat. I cannot imagine any other scenario as it scares me. So anxious...

Questions for the group? I have no morning sickness. In fact I have hardly any symptoms. If you were me, would you be worried or relieved? :)

GTKY: Favorite season and why? Summer. I live in Canada, so I am freezing the rest of the year. :)
  • Symptoms - tired all the time, and I'm either full or starving, there is no in-between. Afternoon sickness, general nausea all day long, till I puke around 3 and then feel better.

Rants/raves/stories- despite reading on here that a little bit of spotting is normal, I LOST MY SH*T last night when I noticed some darker blood. Cried hysterically all night (thank you hormones), and then called the nurse first thing this morning, and she scheduled me an ultrasound.. Probably just to calm me down. Everything is totally fine, but I've been super weepy all day.

Questions-anyone have their first appointment yet? Did you take your DH/SO? How long was it?

GTKY- fall :) leggings, leaves changing, hot chocolate on the couch, cuddling by the fire, cozy sweaters.. Can't wait!
  • @thaisac1 I would be relieved! I had no symptoms with DS, this one is just sore boobs so far and I think I only even notice bc DS is still nursing.

@misstopsail DH came to the first appointment with DS, he didn't really need to be there other than to give his family history. He isn't coming to the first appointment for this one, he will for the dating US though. If you are likely to get a US during your appointment I would bring him along, you can call your office and ask what to expect too.
  • @thaisac1 while no symptoms is not a sign that anything is wrong, I totally understand. I was the same way and then one day I started getting nauseous every evening. You'll eventually have some sort of symptom, if only a growing belly.

Week: 7 - had my ultrasound this week n went from a Friday ticket change to a Wednesday.

Edit: I had more written but it seems to have disappeared!

Rants/raves/stories: I'm going home to Ireland for my best friends wedding in 3 weeks! I know not drinking will definitely be noticed, but I was going to wait til 12 weeks to tell everyone! I don't want it to come out on the day though and steal the happy couples thunder.

    No questions today!

Favourite season: fall is a popular choice and I'm no different! I especially like it here in Canada when the weather is still nice but the leaves are changing.
  • Week: 5

Symptoms: Exhaustion, Cramping, Mild Nausea, Sore breasts

Rants/Raves/Stories: I'm so nervous about the potential of miscarriage this early in the pregnancy, I keep checking to make sure I'm pregnant, whether it be from the nausea or the the sore boobs

Questions for the group? How are some of you dealing with the nausea at work?

GTKY: Favorite season and why? Spring.  It just feels like new life in the spring and it can be warm enough that you don't need a sweater but cool enough that your not sweating your pits off!

How is it having your kids' birthdays so close together? My due date with my son was April 10th (born April 17th) and my due date with this baby is April 12th. I'm so scared they're going to have the same birthday! (Obviously there are MUCH worse things, but I worry about them not each having their own special time/attention, and also the stress of two birthday parties so close together, etc.)
