Fighting latch

6 week old DS all of a sudden is pushing away and acting fussy at the breast. We have had to use a nipple shield but other than that nursing has been a breeze until last night. Any one else experience anything similar? Wondering if it could have anything to do with a growth spurt.

    My son has been doing this for a while now, but he's 3 months. Turns out it's distraction in our case. If I go into a dark room or put on a nursing cover, he latches. If I don't do either of those things, rocking him or bouncing lightly can also work.
