npr - thoughts and prayers needed (job opportunity - kind of long!)

I am a Math teacher who hasn't been able to find a full-time position for the past couple years (I had a full-time job, but the position was cut). I've been really fortunate to land different leave replacements and work steadily, but nothing permanent. The past 2 years, I worked in the same school district (in the same building) and there have been permanent openings. It's been a crazy summer, I went on two interviews in the district (at 8 and 9 months pregnant) and things seemed to be going no where. Other teachers were putting in to transfer schools, and where there were openings, internal candidates were placed - so frustrating. My principal of the last 2 years called me in for a chat about a couple weeks ago to talk to me about the people moving around, and then again on Monday. I guess someone from this high school are transferring to a middle school, so that leaves her position.

Well, today I got a call from my principal that he is recommending me for the position & he has to meet with the assistant superintendent. I wouldn't actually start until beginning to mid- October (depending when baby girl makes her appearance!), and I hope his meeting goes well and they let him fill the position (you NEVER know!!) I would really appreciate some thoughts & prayers. I know it will be hard leaving our baby girl at 6 weeks, but she will be with my sister who is a child care provider & amazing. I keep praying for whatever is best for our family, but I really want this job!! Thank you ladies so much & sorry so long :-)
