Bright red blood 2 weeks after D&C? (Sorry if TMI!)

I have been spotting brown discharge since my D&C on August 4, but last night I had some bright red blood come out. Has anyone else experienced something similar -- brown spotting for days then random bright red blood? It's not heavy, so I'm not super concerned. I'll call my doctor if it continues for more than a few days.

    I bled for 3 months after my d&c. I got the procedure on a friday...lightly bled and then thurs the following week I was passing huge clots. Dr gave me the 3 pills you take to help pass anything that could have possibly been left behind from the procedure. They didn't see anything on the ultrasound, but my uterus was so filled with blood that they could have missed it. After that, It lightened up but went from light to heavy to light again for the next 3 months! Had to be put on progesterone pills to finally stop it. 

     Sometimes your body just handles things different and it takes longer to recover. As long as it isn't soaking a pad every hour then they usually say it's normal. However if you feel uncomfortable about it, definitely talk with your doctor as they very well could have not gotten everything. Good luck!

    January 1, 2016 - CP. Heartbroken and feeling helpless. :(
    July 2017 - Finally!! FINALLY!! Our GORGEOUS baby girl was born on 7-15-17. Miracles do happen!!

    It ended up stopping in 24 hours. I'm 16-ish days out from surgery now, and all the bleeding has stopped completely. (Yay!)

    That's great news I'm glad it got better. And on this board it's never ever TMI don't worry :)
