"who's the one with the big nose??"

my OB has a low quality ultrasound machine... Nothing like what I will see next week at the anatomy scan next week. We did use it to see the baby today and he told me it had a big nose!!!! At 20 weeks a baby can have a big nose??? Obviously im in love with my baby and know it's going to be just the cutest little thing in the world, but come on now!

Has anyone ever had comments about their unborn baby's appearance??? Silly silly

    I was told the baby had my profile at 15 weeks.. she'd had a nose all of 5 minutes but sure, we'll go with that. Haha. They have no idea I agree with pp it's just trying to make awkward conversation I think.

    My DH said baby boy looks like he has his nose... Which is BIG! Lol. He said, look at that hook! I refuse to believe it... Especially since myself and my daughter have cute noses ;)
    So I say... Don't believe it!

    My baby looked like it had a big nose too. I was thinking maybe all the parts are not totally in proportion yet or the angles are weird or most likely I just have no idea what I'm looking at!

    With last baby I thought to myself damn baby girls nose is huge lol , she came out with the littlest button nose. I think like previous posts weird angles, make it look that way.

    One of my babies definitely has "my nose!" I didn't quite believe it when my husband noticed but after looking at some other people's ultrasounds and their babies' small button noses... baby B definitely has my "beak!" We weren't able to get a clear profile of baby A but both husband and I have rather unique noses... our poor children hahaha!

    My sister's baby had a crazy looking nose in some ultrasound pics, and when she was 2 weeks late, the joke was she was sheepish about showing her nose.  Anyway, moral of the story is: her nose is completely normal and adorable.

    So just had an u/s today because they couldn't see spine from baby's position last week. And- I don't post my u/a pics - but WOW, baby looked sweet and beautiful but had some major Rudolph action going on. I don't mean like a big nose, it looked like there was a huge button on the nose. I thought of this post and laughed. The tech said it was just the angle.

    I think they can be blurry sometimes too?  We had one pic where our little girl looked like she had a legit witch's nose.  Like, literally a giant, Wicked Witch of the West style nose - it was crazy!   But then we haven't noticed that in any of the subsequent pictures, and she moves around constantly, so I think it was just blurriness.  :)

    I had an u/s tech say "wow nice profile" - it was a nose and a forehead and a mouth.....was hard to see anything shockingly fantastic (other than the amazingness of the love of our baby lol). Maybe they just do it as a weird joke.

    @anightintunisia I personally love big noses and would be thrilled if ours had her father's (large) nose.  Noses add so much character to a face!  That said, the ultrasound photo we saw basically had to be a blur because it was like, 5x larger than anything else on her face, and was like an exaggerated, pointy thing, like a finger pointing out, haha.  ;)

    The tech that did my son's ultrasound commented that he had my nose. He definitely did and still does!

    It is annoying when the techs exaggerate features. Just nod and smile and pretend like you see it too ;;) :D
