What's been your favorite snack so far during this pregnancy? Please share whatever you've been snacking on, it doesn't matter how weird the combinations are.
**ETA: You can talk about whatever you've been eating to satisfy those cravings too! **
Apples and peanut butter, dark chocolate, oranges (DS has also been loving the oranges)
*I'm starting to experiment with making my own granola bars. Found a recipe on whole foods website for chocolate chip granola bars that are super easy to make.
I've been eating everything in sight. Literally. Everything. Peanut butter and honey sandwiches have been a go to. Along with crackers and cheese, yogurt, muffins (I used a weight watchers recipe. Cake mix+ can of pumpkin. So it's healthy right???!!)
Cereal, cereal, and more cereal. I've been eating a lot of the organic honey grams. I always wake up at either midnight or around 3:00am and have to have a bowl.
I didn't realize I was craving peanut butter until I ate an entire jar in a week. I put it on apples or bananas. Also I could eat my weight in super crunchy, SUPER salty French fries.
Ice cream. All day, every day. But not plain ice cream, it must have toppings. Since I had dinner at Friendly's a few weeks ago, my go-to has been chocolate ice cream with crushed up waffle bowl, m&ms, and hot fudge. I've been trying very hard to limit how often I have it, since there isn't much nutritional value in ice cream...
ICE CREAM!!! I am usually very dairy sensitive and have major digestive issues if I eat non-organic dairy- which causes me not to buy ice cream often because organic ice cream can be a bit pricy. But since I've been pregnant I can eat all the ice cream I want without any tummy aches!! I seriously love it! Oh, and cheese fries.
1st Trimester: Spaghetti, easily! It was the ONLY food that filled me up and didn't smell shit and taste like sand!
2nd Trimester: PBJ, turkey sammiches with dill pickles instead of chips, BBQ meat (specifically steak peices on kababs with bell peppers and onions), also Salchipapa (fries with slices sausage, mayo and ketchup, eaten with a fork!)
Re: Pregnant and Snacking
But seriously, bring on the burgers and fries!! All day, errey day!

Jamie
Not sure why. Don't care. Delicious.
Also I could eat my weight in super crunchy, SUPER salty French fries.
Also oranges. They have been so good, but they give me heartburn. But I don't care!!
Healthy, eh?
