I had the shakes after I got my epidural. My legs were so cold it was like they were in an ice bath. I even made the comment "oh that's warm" when they broke my water, tmi and gross I know but that goes to show where your mind is then lol.
My sister had the shakes with a completely natural birth. The nurse / doctor said it was because of the adrenaline. They didn't seem fazed by it at all.
I had a completely med free vaginal delivery with my son. I shook so hard I could barely hold him. between the adrenaline, blood loss, and exhaustion from pushing, it's completely normal. With a csection, the shaking is from the anesthesia and blood loss. It's a lot on your body at once, but normal.

Edit* Vaginal delivery. I blamed the pitocin, light epidural, and whatever other meds they put in me without permission!
