Hey ladies! So I know there are some maternity clothes threads, but I'm wondering about jeans. I've got the tops/shirts part figured out, but not where to get maternity jeans that look decent. Any suggestions?
I've managed to find some at Ross, but any local place is good. I have a rule where I don't buy pants online, it's just not worth it to have them arrive and fit weird, so I always try them on first. I think Motherhood Maternity is supposed to have good stuff, though.
I splurged on a few pairs of Hudson's my lasts pregnancy and am weari them this time around. I just can't stand how frumpy/odd cheap maternity jeans looked on me.
I have a few pair of gap maternity jeans that also aren't too bad. Not as nice as the Hudson's, but definitely better than ones I tried on at motherhood maternity
I recently bought 2 pairs of maternity jeans from motherhood maternity that I LOVE. They were a little pricey for something I won't wear forever but they're so comfortable, im so glad I spent the money on them!
I tried on jeans at target today. They fit my thighs, butt, hips, and length great, but the band for my belly was huge! What's up with that? I'm 18 weeks and measuring ahead!!!
H&M has cute ones! I signed up for emails and got 20% of my entire purchase. Target has some cute ones, but try them on for sure! I found one style that fit really well but others were really bulky in the crotch...no thanks! Haha
I just picked up some maternity shorts there that had just been marked down for clearance. I know its the end of the season but I'm sure I'll wear them inside during the cooler months putting around at home. I think Tuesdays are their woman's clothing mark down days.
I got a pair from Gap on clearance that were a size big, but they were like 6 or 7 bucks and they still work. Just picked up a pair of skinny jeans from Old Navy in my normal size and I can't wait to wear them! They actually make my legs look good!
Thank you ladies! I didn't know all of these stores had maternity options. I'll be checking them out for sure. I have a bellyband, but the jeans I have on today don't stay up very well with it, and if I zip them any more the zipper digs into my belly. Not comfy! Haha. Sounds like I'll need to spend some time shopping around to get through the fall and winter with some decent jeans!
Am I the only one that tried on maternity jeans at target and the crotch was like down to my knees? They were so weird. Then I got maternity skinnies from motherhood which are nice, but the waist band is too big, while the thighs are too small, so the crotch doesn't come up all the way. I bought them because for the most part they fit, and they told me They would stretch so I didn't wanna go too big. They lied lol. I'm just sticking with my American eagle jeans and a belly band.
I ordered a pair of stretch skinny jeans from zulily made by Oh! mamma, and love them so much I just ordered a second pair. I have another pair from old navy but I really don't like them, they are always slipping down.
I have found such a variety at motherhood it's crazy. The same brand and size and cut will fit so different! I always buy online anyways because I just return the stuff that doesn't fit for store credit and just get more stuff. I now have 2 pants that are beyond comfortable and 1 pair that is like my 'skinny' jeans, they are tight but still comfortable. I love their sales online so it's worth the trip to the store after they get here if they don't fit.
I am seriously in love with my citizen of humanity skinnies. They just have elasticated sides so they pretty much feel like my normal skinnies. I purchased them in my pre pregnancy size and they fit perfectly. I got them on shopbop.com. Pricey yes, but cost per wear will be amazing!!!! pretty much live in them
I bought maternity skinny jeans from target too and love them! Theyre the only pair i have without the band on top so they fall down a little but totally worth how cute they are.
I actually fought buying maternity jeans but I've found some at Ross for only $14 and they are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. Ross has been my favorite/most affordable place I've found them
I usually go up a size (or 4) in regular jeans. I like low rise that sit under the belly. I can always use these post baby was well. I did pick up a pair of Gap Maternity and surprisingly love them.
I found a ton of cute maternity jeans and pants at Burlington coat factory yesterday! They were only like $17.99. And they had maternity leggings and yoga pants for $5-$10.

I'm in love with my belly band and I can wear all of my pre pregnancy pants.
Not sure if that's something you would be interested in but I thought I'd bring it up again.
