Seeking a St. Joseph Affiliated OB/GYN

Hi ladies!  I am looking to change doctors.  My current Dr switched from St. Jospeh to UCI Medical Center and I am not comfortable with the fact that it is a "teaching hospital."  So, I am now 20 weeks pregnant and I am looking for a new OB-GYN.  Does anyone out there have a great Dr they would recommend?  I'd love to hear positive experiences with St. Joseph Hospital as well because they do not do in person tours any more. I appreciate any help and advice.

    Hi there! I'm 12 weeks and I recently just switched OBs due to my original Dr taking four days to get ahold of after I had an ER trip. I found Dr.Donald Henderson at ST.jude medical center and him and his staff are amazing so far. They do have other doctors that are female as well if you prefer a female OB but I went with him because he had awesome reviews. When I met him he was very nice, informative and thorough with answering all my questions as if he had all the time in the world. He even had the father get involved and had him come over so he could have him feel on my stomach where the top of my uterus was just as "something neat" to show him. He also seemed genuinely excited and invested in our pregnancy and thanked us for finding him and making his afternoon. Also their orientation class they hold for new patients was full for the week so the doctor made sure that I got a one on one orientation and that was amazing as well. I hope this helps and you found an amazing doctor, I know it can be difficult. Good luck :D
