Don't worry, I'm scheduled for a laproscopy on Tuesday morning too. Stay positive, I'm sure your Drs must have stressed how crucial this is, this is all part of the process to get there. Sleep well and trust in these professionals, I believe we are in good hands. Best of success
Good luck, it's a very quick procedure and for me it was a light anesthesia since the procedure is roughly 20 minutes. After the procedure I was still a little tired so I ate and pretty much slept the rest of the day and went back to work the next day.
@MKLEWIS2010 thank you. Yes it is under light anesthesia. I'm happy this is the weekend so I don't have to go to work tomorrow. But I'm happy to know it was that simple. Thank you.
I had a polyp removed a few weeks ago and it was my first time ever under general anesthesia. When I walked into the operating room with the nurse and IV bag in tow, I was so scared that I was chalk white and shaking. The nurses were all so nice to me (although I think they thought I was a little crazy : ) . Anyway, I woke up!! And afterwards I was actually quite glad that I had not been awake for the pain and awkwardness of it all. You will be fine! And you will be that much closer to the transfer!!!!
Hi ladies. Thank you all for the support. Everything went great. It was over before I knew it. I only have mild cramping and light spotting. 1 step closer.
Completed my laproscopy procedure yesterday, home recovering w some cramps, bloating and resting it off, won't have the surgery results till my visit on 9/2....
