Kicks down low

does anyone ever feel like they are getting kicked super down low, like right down in your privates?? I'm a STM and don't remember this with my first and lately my movement is up white high so this has taken me by surprise and feels so weird!

Re: Kicks down low

  • Yes I started to get those kicks two days ago and of all places was at work when it started so I was getting quite I comfortable.

Coochie kicks!! She does it to me a lot. Which makes me worry how badly it's going to hurt when she's bigger :-O
  • My boy is kicking me in the cervix all.the.time. drives me nuts. I try to get up and walk around a bit to see if I can move him into another position.

  • Bun seems to be on a weird routine of kicking high in the morning and evening and low blows everytime in between. It's gone on long enough for me to notice the pattern. The worst to me is having SPD and kicks landing right against my pubic bone. Compared to that I'll deal with the cervical hits.
  • Baby boy loves kicking me in the vag. Sometimes I feel like he is already trying to escape.
  • All the time for me. I say the same thing as @ssn109
It was until a couple days ago that I felt her up near my belly button. But she favors the vagina kicks for sure
  • This is all hilarious to me because that seems to be my LO's favorite place to kick me. Sometimes it can feel like I have really bad gas about to pass but it's just her.
  • Those were the first kicks I felt! It will bounce from cervix to top if uterus. I can see the kicks other places now too :)
  • I thought I was the only one getting kicked in the Vag he seems to like kicking down there
  • Yep lots of low kicks. Wish he'd move upwards - feels like he's trying to escape already.
  • Well times post! This started today while I was driving. At first I was trying to figure out if it was a Braxton Hicks or something. Then I figured out it was Little One kicking me down there. Just like you, my son never did that the first time around.
  • LOL - not really "vag" kicks, my DD thinks my bladder is a bouncy ball!

  • Oh gosh, haven't had that yet but doesn't sound pleasant! US this week baby was in a sitting position with legs vertical. But yesterday it moved down/rolled really low by my pelvis and it was rock hard, it was the weird feeling.

I get low kicks, and high kicks! Usually, the little one is kicking at or around the center of my stomach. So I'm thrown off, and caught off gaurd, when they kick low on me! @-)
  • Same here! Stm and never had this with the first! I haven't felt ANY kicks above my belly button! I'm 24 weeks!
  • Thanks ladies! Good to see I'm not the only one!! I didn't realise the kicks could be so so low ;)
  • Frequently, but I'll take the stabs for now... I remember at the end with One it felt like she was scraping her way out with a butter knife. I do not look forward to that.
  • I experienced this for the first time yesterday, it was an awkward feeling. Usually she kicks a little higher, weird!!
  • In the beginning all of the kicks I felt we low, really low. At my last trip to the doctor she said her feet are low and her head is high and that is why I keep feeling the kicks so low. I suppose we can be grateful for the low kicks because before we know it these little babies will be doing the flip and then kicking us in our ribs and lungs!
  • Yes almost exclusively, although today she was punching me and kicking me at once so it was all over.

    This kid is a dragon.
  • I get them. I'm 22 weeks and my placenta hasn't moved all the way up yet so she jumps on it and kicks it and I can feel it there. It's very strange! But also very normal!
  • I get low kicks all the time and I don't remember these from my first pregnancy either. It's so hard not to flinch when you get a 'coochie kick' though! This LO also likes to dance on my bladder (making me think I'm about to pee myself) which I definitely do remember from my last pregnancy /:)
  • My lil boy enjoys kicking me in the cervix all the damn time
  • That's the only place this girl kicks. I have wondered when she'll start to move up. She's never kicked anywhere except my bladder. My guess is she's got her head at the top and legs below. Guess I'll find out in 3 weeks at u/s.
  • Yep, my peanut seems to only kick low, which at this point I'm ok with. My mom said when she was pregnant with my brother he kicked her so hard he broke one of her ribs!
  • I'm only getting low kicks at 25 weeks
  • Yes I started getting them there last week! I felt a constant pressure on my bladder. Called the nurse at my Obgyn and she recommended getting on all fours, sticking butt up in air/lifting legs to see if it would get the baby to move off the bladder. Thought it sounded crazy but tried it and felt definite relief the next day!
  • I'm almost 26 weeks and I don't even know what I'm feeling half the time! Every once in a while I'll feel a distinct kick, but most of the time I feel like I have a belly full of snakes rolling around.

When count time comes, I'll have no idea wtf I'm doing.
  • Oh HELL yes, like RIGHT down there
  • Oh my gosh, yes!  I am 23 weeks and it seems this is one of his favorite pasttimes!  I had an ultrasound yesterday and he was practically standing with his feet near my pelvis and his head up in my abdomen.  Crazy kid.

That is such a good discription of what it feels like....Snakes rolling around..... Love it :)

^ I have a friend who kicked her mother so hard she kicked through the uterus and had to be delivered via c section 7 weeks early. As if pregnancy wasn't scary enough. Yikes!!
