Online Birthing Classes

Do you recommend any online birthing classes? We're taking 1 at the hospotal, but I'm not sure how in depth it will go and I want to be prepared to try an unmedicated birth.

I'm taking the online version of Birth Boot Camp. It was, from what I saw, very similar curriculum to the Bradley Method. It solely focuses on having an unmedicated birth and the preparation for one. My husband and I both really enjoy the classes and can enjoy a cup of coffee while watching in our pjs on Sunday mornings :-)

I've been looking into this class since going to a live class is virtually impossible with full time jobs and a two year old. So you like it so far? I've heard good things and my doula recommends it too. I need to get on the ball and buy it.

  • How much is it?
  • @valerierose15 yeah. I really like it and so does my husband, oddly. It's presented by two women (sometimes they can get chatty in the videos) who present awesome information, have great interviews.
@pkfinnerty It was $295 I think but from what I've read your insurance may cover the cost. It was a bit pricy and I was kind of hesitant to spend that much when a regular hospital class was only $90 BUT it's been so informative and I feel so much support about an unmedicated birth it was worth every penny in my opinion.
I'd look it up online and see what you think. We love it and id totally recommend it to anyone wanting a med free birth experience and unable to attend traditional weekly classes.
