I have a tiny one too.

Birth weight was 6 pounds, 15 ounces
At around 12 weeks she was 10.5 pounds.

I'm not sure where we currently are, because we haven't been to the dr since the 2 month checkup. We'll see in a couple weeks when we have our *gasp* 4 month checkup. But I do know we're still comfortably in 0-3 month clothes.

He is a big boy! I am kind of curious on gender for some of your little ones. I know all babies grow different. My cousin has a little girl that is 4 days older than my son. She is tiny! Still wearing newborn clothes while we are rockin 6 month. Just interested to see the difference in our girls and boys.

Birth weight: 6lbs 12 oz.

12 weeks: 9 lbs, 14 oz. (though 11 of those oz had been that week)

Mostly breastfed; supplementing with formula evenings due to low supply at night & really slow weight gain.

She was 23 inches at her 2 month check up, 20 inches when born. I'd suspect she's at least 25 or 26 now - I'll know for sure Monday. Her doctor wants another weigh in to be sure she's gaining fine now, and I'm sure they'll give her a measure. I'd say she's what Dr. Sears calls a 'banana baby' - always moving and using all of her calories for that and growing long rather than chubby.

We are the opposite. All 6M clothes but the sleepers fit big (depending on brand). My DS is short in the legs and long in the torso so I think that's why for us.

We get comments about how little DD is pretty often. I didn't think she was little at all, until I saw another baby girl that's 6 weeks younger than DD. Other LO outweighs her... DD is much longer though

We get those comments a lot too. When she was a newborn we were constantly asked if she was a preemie. I knew she was on the small side, but didn't realize how small until I went back to work. I have a part time retail job and talk to moms when they come in our store. Every time I ask how old a baby is expecting 6 or 7 months to be the answer, it ends up being 2 or 3 months.

She has a cousin that was almost 12 pounds at birth. So here we are, 16 weeks old and finally almost as big as he was as a newborn.
