Induction scheduled

Well if this little lady doesn't come before next Wednesday I'll be going in for an induction that day. I'd really like to avoid this if possible, just because of the risk of a cascade of intervention. I'm currently sitting at 5 cm and thinned, got membranes stripped today, but no contractions yet. I'm just surprised I'm so dilated and still not contracting yet. Anyone else have this happen?

    I was 4cm and 90% thinned for two weeks before delivery. Finally was induced, but I was so far along I was only in labor for less than 7 hours. I never experienced BH and only felt contractions at 7cm. Best of luck!
