Lurker intro

Hi ladies, I've been lurking this page ever since my 2 positive HPT last week and thought I would do an intro. I am 33yo and this is my second pregnancy, first one ended in m/c back in June. Based off my lmp I'm 6w4d. I go in for my u/s on August 26th, but I had some bloodwork done yesterday to check my #'s. My Dr office called me today and said my hcg was 7500 and looked good, but my progesterone was 14.6 so they are putting me on an oral progesterone. I am being very cautious but optimistic this time around. I love to read everyone's updates on here, it gives me hope and puts a smile on my face instead of constantly thinking about the negative.     Congratulations!! I assume you're from Nebraska?? I'm from Kansas close to the NE line!

    Thanks! My name gave it away huh, lol. I never changed it from when I was part of The Knot back in 2012. I'm in the Central part of the state, only about an hour from the Kansas border. Congrats to you too!

    Welcome and congrats! Wow I live in Kc, Mo. About 15 min from Kansas and two hours south of Omaha.

    Welcome! I also had a mc in March and dr thinks it was due to low progesterone. This time my first draw it was 9.5 after 1 dose of progesterone it went to 34! The next one it was 36. Amazing what taking the pill can do for you!

    @lilp2015 how long did you take the progesterone?  They gave me a prescription to take 2 pills a day, but said it may cause drowsiness so suggested I take 2 pills at night before bed.  This is the first time taking it, so i'm not sure how long it is supposed to last.
