Possible cholestasis anyone?

I noticed a red, itchy rash a couple days ago on my belly only but thought it was from my clothes or stretch marks... Oops. I had an ob appt today and had blood drawn for the rash, I should get results this week. Was told it could be cholestasis. I am pregnant with twin boys and will be 31 weeks tomorrow. Anybody else had/have this??

    I had it with my first and second. Was hoping not to get it with this one, but started itching this week. :( hoping my numbers aren't terrible. My first baby was born at 36 and 4 days. Everything went wonderful for having to be induced. My second came on his own at 37 weeks and was completely healthy as well. The main thing is to keep tabs on the baby up until delivery. I had nst and ultrasounds and blood work done 3x a week for weeks 33-36. If you have questions check out ICPCare.org. It answers lots of questions and they also have FB support groups available.     I was recently diagnosed with PUPPPS, which I think has some of the same symptoms as cholestasis. It's a bad rash some women get during pregnancy. Ive heard that cholestasis is itching with no apparent rash, so maybe you have PUPPPS as well. My doctor prescribed a steroid ointment and it is almost completely gone now after only 4 treatments.     It sounds more like pupps. Chloestasis usually starts on the hands or sometimes feet with no rash. I've been tested for it and they seem to have ruled out chloestasis and they don't know what's wrong with me at this point. Good luck with whatever it is. I itch like crazy!!!

    I had it with my daughter. The previous posters are correct. Cholestasis rarely presents with a rash. A rash is one of those things they use to rule it out. Still talk to your doc about it because it for sure isn't anything to mess around with.

    Yes! The cream didn't work so I ordered essential oils thyme, lavender and tea tree aka melecula and its gone!
