Wow...she actually said that!

I had a co-worker (that I am not close with at all) ask me today if I was expecting. I was so caught off guard that I told her we were, but it is still very early and we are keeping it on the down low since we have had 2 miscarriages in the past year. She proceeded to tell me that my stomach was a dead giveaway and that we might have a future line backer on our hands!! WTF?!?! What would ever make you think that was OK to say to someone, especially, when I told her I was not very far along. Hello?!? Its called bloat and I have a bad case of it lately. I even second guessed what I was wearing today because it was not very flattering to the bloat situation, but decided to say "screw it, its comfortable" and wore it anyways. Guess I should have decided on a different outfit. Rant Over.... :)

    Well that's just rude. Who asks another person if they are pregnant? I would never say anything about being pregnant to another woman unless I was 100% sure she was KU. I have only gained about a 1 but I look like I have gained 5-10 in my stomach area due to the bloat. I have just decided to say F it. I figure my co-workers probably think I am just getting chunky.

    Wow. Rude. Isn't it common knowledge to never ask a woman if she's pregnant? You wear what you want and don't worry about what anyone, least of all nosy busybody coworkers, thinks!!
