I apologize if someone has posted about this before, but I'm not even sure the words to search. Anyway, I just moved and was unpacking a small bathroom tote. I reached in and there was about an inch and a half of fluid-- my jewelry cleanerer had burst open in the tote. I pulled my hand out but tried to quickly pull out a few of the nailpolishes also in the tote and rinsed them off. I'm worried about the cleaner getting on my hands particularly because I have an open cut on my cuticles. Is this an emergency that I need to contact my doctor for - was planning on calling in the am - but if this is something bad it will probably be too late by then. Thank you!
Re: Worried!
Your baby is very well protected and while this isn't necessarily a comfort, we are exposed to more than we know on a daily basis and a one time nail polish remover incident will have no effects on your baby at all. Don't worry!
And I'll give you a heads up ask google this question before you get a lot of mean comments cause not saying your issue wasn't huge but people on here are dealing with bigger issues than jewelry cleaner on their hands. Also your hands have a different texture of skin on them which is why some things can hurt your arm or leg but not necessarily your hands your body is just made that way.
Hope you calmed down and saw the light.
I believe it is no worse than cleaning with windex or other common household cleaners without gloves. If you're really worried - invest in some gloves for next time.

I agree with some of PPs. You've got a whole pregnancy to get through, so you've got to try and temper your worries or it will elevate your stress. That's not that great for baby either.
