DH business trip at 38 weeks!!!!!

DH has to go to Cuba (yes, that's right CUBA - where there are no cell phones or Internet) the day I hit 38 weeks with this baby (#3). He legitimately could land on his way home to learn he has a two or three day old baby!
My best friend is willing to let me bring my kids to her house and drive me to the hospital if I go in to labor (we have no family in town) so I'm not all alone, but I'm still so anxious. My mom would drive up to help me as soon as I go in to labor, so I won't be alone caring for three kids at least. She is 5 hours away so I can't count on her to be there in time for delivery, so my best friend would be my support (she was my doula for dd2 so I'm comfortable with it).
My first came at 40w3d and second was induced at 39w6d, so I have never gone early, but stilllllllllll.
And no he has no option to change it or not to go, so it is what it is. I would feel guilt if I had our baby while he was away Hahahaha. Because it's clearly up to me hahaha.
He told me about the trip with tears in his eyes. I know it would crush him to miss the birth of his only son, so there is no use in making him feel worse about it. I did laugh when he told me to "keep that baby in there."
The good news is that DD1 has no school that thurs, fri, or mon, so I would not have to stress about how she would get to school and back home
Sigh.

Only to Chicago though which isn't super far from where we are, but still!!!
I want to say no you can't go but I know it's really important to him and his career.
I have lined up an emergency doula as I have no family here where we live or super close friends either. His mother might be around but who knows and I don't know that I want her there for that!
I am really nervous he could miss it. I would be so sad and I'm trying not to think about it yet.
