Dumb question- awful taste in my mouth?

I'm 8 weeks today and over the last week or so, I've noticed a horrible gross nasty taste in my mouth. No matter what I do/eat, or how often I brush my teeth. I can't shake it! It's not a metallic taste like I've read about, it's just... gross. Anyone else dealing with this?

Sometimes it can be the prenatals you are taking. when I was in high school I was highly anemic, my doctor prescribed me with iron pills... every day about an hour after I would take them I would get this awful burnt taste in my mouth and it happened to be those. It has happened one other time before with an antibiotic. Maybe try switching prenatal pills?

I have had the exact same thing!! I don't know what it is. It was really noticeable last week but the past few days it has stopped. I'm 8 weeks 5 days. I don't think it's my prenatal vitamin because I've been taking them for over a year. I think it's pregnancy related. My mouth tasted like a garbage can haha. All I could do was eat candy...so bad, I know. But I couldn't handle it. Hope it stops for you like it has for me.

No fun at all! I may try switching my prenatals anyway. The new kind I got (enfamil?) is 2 pills vs 1. Maybe that will help?

Are you conjested at all? I'm having the same problem plus a disgusting smell stuck in my nose. I think it's from sinus problems, drainage, mucus, etc.
