My postpartum appt is the 24th. Who has had theirs and what did they do exactly. Has bleeding stopped? Etc.

    I had mine today and she did an internal exam and checked to make sure my uterus isn't still tender. Asks a few questions about me and baby and did a pap while down there. My PP bleeding had stopped but I'm experiencing a mini period right now since my baby boy sleeps a nice 4-5 hour stretch at night before next feeding so she said it's normal when that happens to get a period. Other than that asked what we wanted to do about birth control and checked my c section incision. Was an easy app minus the pap lol hate those so much

    My checkup consisted of checking for postpartum depression, putting in IUD and any questions I had at that time and also checking my sugars

    I had mine a few days ago, they did a pap and since I'm breastfeeding they did a breast exam. Talked about birth control, that's about it. I haven't bled since 4-5 weeks, and had my appointment at almost 7 weeks pp.

    My pp bleeding stopped or so I thought. I get random red spotting and then will phase out. Maybe that's the mini period like you had. I'm bf'ing so thought it was weird since normally women don't get their periods back for awhile after baby.

    Had mine yesterday. She did a pelvic and pap. We talked about birth control as well as PPD. I left her office with a prescription for both BC pills and Zoloft as well as counseling information to help with PPD.
