Numb bladder?

I had a CS Monday. Almost a week later I can't tell when I have to pee. When I go I pee a lot. This is a weird sensation because I felt like I had to pee ALL the time when I was pregnant. It doesn't hurt when I go its just hard to tell when I need to. I just sorta time it and drink lots if water.
Anyone else experience this?
When will the feeling return?

    Yes! It took me a few months after my section to feel the sensation to pee.

    I think a lot has to do with the catheter. It took me about 3 weeks to have normal sensation.

    Agree about the catheter. Mine was in for over 30 hours and it took several weeks to get the full feeling back in my bladder.

    Thank god!! I went to my dr on Tuesday. She wanted to put ANOTHER catheter in me so that my "bladder wouldn't hyper extend and cause permeant damage" I refused. And cried. I cried a lot. And I talked her into allowing measuring and recording my pee amounts to make sure I wasn't holding more than 500cc of urine. I have yet to collect over 300cc so I'm glad I didn't let her out another cath in because I'm pretty sure that's what caused the problem too! Thank you ladies!!
