So I procrastinated and didn't fill out the information in my baby book for the pricing of things like a gallon of milk or the price of gas ect. LO was born on May 14th. Does anyone have this information or know how I can get it? TIA
I think using today's prices would be fine...I haven't noticed the price of milk or gas having changed significantly or at all in the last couple of months. Ditto with housing prices, I just googled the average cost for 2015.
I'll probably end up googling that stuff. I definitely didn't make note of it.
Plus my Canadian prices probably won't help you. Milk rarely changes for me - $1.57 for a 1 litre.
I remember gas going up when he was born because we drove home and it was way higher than when we went to the hospital (4 days earlier). But again, my 1.039/litre won't help you probably.
Thanks ladies. I know no one will notice if I use today's prices but it will always bother me knowing I put it off and I shouldn't have. No big deal in the grand scheme of things.

I'm the same as you. It will bother me more than anyone else. I'm still crushed that we haven't gotten a good handprint form DS for his baby book. He clenches his fist the second we try to do it.
I was never under the assumption that the prices had to be from that day, just that year, so I didn't stress about it. The sections for news events, trends, etc., are for the year, so just convince yourself the rest is too.
And, handprints are near impossible. I still have to do mine.

Lol I did her handprints when she was 1 month and they are awful and I'm a little bit crushed inside about it.

The foot prints are beautiful. So beautiful that we framed one for us and each set of grandparents for Father's Day. We nailed that one. But the hand prints are just a big blob of blue ink. Pretty pathetic. I don't even know if we did both hands. I think we gave up after one. Sigh. DH tried to photocopy DS's hand thinking that would look cool. It came out super creepy looking. I refuse to put that in his book.
