  • How far along are you? 38w4d

Any appointments this week? Yes! Wednesday I have my check up and Thursday we go in to start my induction for a hopeful delivery on Friday.

How are you feeling? Stressed. I am so excited to have her but I'm scared of how it will all go. And I've got some family stress that isn't helping.

QOTW: no last minute summer plans other than having this baby!! Tomorrow is my last day of work so I'm planning on hanging by my pool for a little while before we go into the hospital Thursday.

    1) 34 weeks. So close!
    2) I have an standard check up tomorrow morning.
    3) Okay. Sleep is becoming an issue. I wake up at 4:30 am hungry, thirsty, having to go pee, being poked in the side, ect. and often can't fall back asleep again.

I start work as a teacher today so my summer is officially done even if it's still over 100 F. Two weekends ago DH and I took a weekend road trip to the Dallas Zoo. Don't know if anyone on here is in the area but tickets are half price until the end of August.

Good luck! Also, if no one else steps up, I can be the check in leader for a little.

  • Good luck @Justone!

I am 38 weeks and 5 days today. I had a check up yesterday. Everything still looks good. I did not have him check me. After feeling my belly, he said not to expect a small baby. That's the same thing they said with my son, and he was almost 9 lbs and 23 in long. So we shall see...I go back next Tuesday if I don't go into labor before then.

QOTW: Not really. Just having this baby and trying to enjoy the rest of the summer.

    3) swelling in my hands, feet and ankles - very painful on the hands when sleeping!!

Yes, due to the drought in our province, my husband and I are fencing off more of our acreage. Super fun stuff when you're 7.5 months preggers.
