Agreed. I understand you were upset but please, please, please remove this word from your vocabulary. My mom has worked with special needs children pretty much my whole life and it can be devastating for people to hear, it is an extremely offensive word.

Where I come from, it's normal. Ppl use it to describe someone ignorant or stupid. Different places use words differently. Not saying it's right but that's my experience. My hunny and I have gotten into arguements bc he grew up in a different location than I did so he uses the webster's definition of the words and I use what they mean where I'm from.
We don't need to bash someone for expressing there feelings or opinion. Whether you like the way she used the word or not. I'm not offended and I have a mentally/ physically handicapped uncle. Society is way to sensitive nowadays
