I'm assuming you mean spicy hot? The heartburn is so bad for me that I just don't eat anything spicy. As far as stopping... Just do it? I would say all in moderation but if you're really concerned just call your doc
As long as you feel okay I can't see how this would be bad for your baby- my husband and I eat atomically hot food and I'm glad heartburn has not been an issue thus far! Later in pregnancy the more favors you introduce- the more flavors a your baby is exposed to through the amniotic fluid (and then breastmilk if you go that route)- I'm hoping this leads to a "more adventurous eater" as my DH is a chef and we eat all sorts of Wild flavors . Eat away if it doesn't give you heartburn (and later in pregnancy the dreaded hemmeroids (sorry for the spelling)
Your not alone. Spicy is the only thing that sounds good right now. I might need to make friends with the woman who owns the Subway down the street because I am constantly craving the Southwest Chipotle dressing. Right now it sounds good on toast with eggs...just saying.
There is nothing that says spicy will hurt the baby. With DD I could only keep coke and sour gummy worms. Later on it was anything orange.
