Echinacea in juice

Hi all I just had a juice that had an immunity shot in it didn't know what was in the shot until I drank half of it and googled. It was echinacea and vitamin c. Just concerned about the intake of echinacea I just had. I know it cause stimulation of the uterus but was wondering if it's a concern or not? Thank you!

I have no advice for you, could you call a 24 hour nurse hotline? They are usually pretty helpful

    1. Per Google - Research suggests that echinacea is one of the most commonly used herbal supplements in women before and during pregnancy. However, safety information is limited on the use of echinacea in breastfeeding women, pregnant women, or women who are trying to becomepregnant

    I'm sure it's fine.

  • I googled it because I was thinking about taking echinacea for cold prevention. Seems like there was a study in 2000 that said echinacea was safe in pregnant women but that's all I could find and it wasn't super extensive. All other sites are like, "not enough info to know," as it is with lots of herbs and supplements. So... I'm still not sure about taking echinacea in large quantities or for an extended period of time, but I wouldn't worry about half a smoothie's worth. If that helps at all?!
  • Thanks for all your replies! I'm feeling ok at the moment so I'm sure things are fine I hope. Thanks again for your searching :)
