does your LO not like cuddling?

My little guy used to love being cuddled, being cradle held, or being upright and flat against my body (belly to belly) but for the last several weeks he fights it unless he's just waking up or nursing. He'd rather be standing, sitting or facing outwards, even if he's tired. I guess maybe he just wants to see his world more but I miss my baby cuddles!! :(

    DS is starting to get that way. He wants to face out generally. During playtime I don't mind at all. (Un)fortunately he still loves being rocked to sleep and held during naps. So I still get my snuggles in but I would love to start being able to put him down for naps so I can eat and get stuff done around the house!!!

    Mine have never liked being cuddled much! Bums me out. If they are held close & facing towards me, they assume it's for nursing. And when I don't meet this assumption, they get frustrated. I blame the fact that they were NICU babies and just didn't get the cuddles as much as other babies in the beginning. Sometimes when they are really, really tired and have a pacifier, I am able to sneak in some cuddling. It is important to Mama!

    Mine is more of a cuddle bug with Grandma, though I get some in too.  Mostly at night, since we bed share; she snuggles right in.  She's been less interested in snuggles during feeding too - she's too busy wanting to look around and play with me to waste time on cuddles.

    We bed share sometimes and if he's not swaddled he just kicks me and punches me in the face! lol. I get lots of punches instead of cuddles. :( And scratches since I can't cut LOs talons short enough.

    @SmrBrd2012 My boy kicks me a lot too! I imagine that it's helping me get my six pack back haha! I miss cuddles too- so now I just kiss him all over :)
