Is it possible to become lactose intolerant during pregnancy? Not sure if it's a common thing but I found myself running to the bathroom more often than I would like to lately.
I think it's just usual for women to have more extreme gastrointestinal issues when pregnant. I have IBS, and I've known noticed that it has been worse since I found out I was expecting. Just a lot going on in there... Don't think you're necessarily lactose intolerant though!

Ugh, I would kill for a large, cold glass of chocolate milk right now but I would regret it. It gives me indigestion so very bad. As much as I want it, I don't want that feeling so Ill pass. Just thought this was the perfect place to put this.
@TheBeggsBunch I literally can't eat blizzards right now and it makes me cry.
Oh thats just sad! I can but not too close to bed time. Milk and I just don't get along. I can do the super low fat kind but no one else in my house will touch it so it usually goes bad.
Whenever I was on bc of any kind, I couldn't have milk. And off bc, I could. Since finding out about LO, milk has sent me to the bathroom within an hour. I think it can be a hormonal thing.
Thank you for this post because I was wondering the exact same thing. I am not normally lactose intolerant, but have been struggling with lactose since becoming pregnant and was wondering if there was a connection. Question for you: Is your husband lactose intolerant? Mine is and I had this crazy idea that my baby might have inherited his intolerance which, in turn, is causing me to have it. Just a theory. But, to answer your question, yes, this is totally a thing. Guess we will have to have the pickles without the ice cream!
@AmandaSan I would say there is definitely a chance. I think gastrointestinal things just tend to run in the family... My grandma had ISB, my mom has it, my aunt has it, and I have it (a lot of it has to with lactose, but I'm not necessarily intolerant). But that doesn't guarantee it will be passed down, my brother doesn't have it!

I was too wondering about this. I have never had any lactose intolerance. I always have drank a lot of milk etc but within the past few weeks I have been super sensitive to dairy etc . Hope it gets better
