placenta previa

I'm currently 14 weeks and 5 days last week my Dr told me that I had partial placenta previa. She told me a little about it and I've also read up quite a bit on it. I just wanted to know if any one else had been diagnosed with it and what there experiences with it have been. I have a small bit of spotting this morning its already stopped and I'm not having any cramps. To be safe I called the drs office and they said it would normal with the placenta previa and that if it was heavy bleeding like a period I would need to go to the hospital. I have my next ultrasound at 20 weeks and I'm hoping the placenta will have moved by then. Please let me know your experience with this issue good and bad.

    I am 16 wks and found out today that I have it..spotting about once a week..just when I use the bathroom..clean up and its gone again..doc said I may spot throughout my pregnancy...and if it doesn't move I will have to have a c section... I am just to take it very easy now..I bought a fetal doppler for my own peace of mind also..amazon..38bux..that really helps..

    My friend had partial placenta previa but the placenta moved before 30 weeks so that was good! Prayers yours moves out of the way! ❤️

    I am having twins and had partial placenta previa at my 18 week ultrasound. When I went in for another ultrasound at 26 weeks, the placenta had moved way up, and I'm in the clear! My doc said that with partial, you have about a 90% chance that it will rectify itself. Good luck!
