...for the LO to still fall asleep after feeding? My LO still pretty much does this with one or two periods a day where he remains awake and alert for awhile.
Mine is almost 5 weeks and will only get "milk drunk" sometimes. It's been like that a few weeks now. I try to wear her out during the evening so I can always get her straight to sleep after eating at night.
Mines 3 weeks old yesterday and still does this for almost every feeding. A few feedings a day though he will stay awake for about 45 min afterwards and we will "play." He's eating about every 2 hours consistently though so by the time that is over he is ready to eat again then goes to sleep. I'd say it's normal...but with my first he cried all day every day or so it seemed so I can't really compare. I'm just glad this little guy isn't doing the same as his big brother lol
My baby sleeps a lot and almost always falls asleep after feeding. He is a great sleeper!! Also three weeks old. I think it's pretty normal for some babies… All babies are different of course!
My daughter is going to be a month old tomorrow and she pretty much still falls asleep after every feed...she is an amazing sleeper. She will stay awake a couple times for a little while and then wants to eat again and falls asleep. I hope that is okay...ftm here so it is normal for me so far!
My DD is 2 weeks old and falls asleep about half of the time after eating. I remember my DS would fall asleep after every feed for months after he was born.
Re: At 3 weeks, is it still expected...
