Pain after ultrasound?

Hey ladies,

I had my ultrasound today to determine if I needed a d&c or if I'd passed everything naturally. Good news is it looks like I've passed it all and don't need the d&c... however I'd basically stopped bleeding and had no more cramping. And now the bleeding and cramping seem to be increasing again. Could this just be from them pushing down with the ultrasound thing?

    I always cramp after an ultrasound and have started spotting after them too. If it continues to get worse, I would call your doctor, otherwise I would assume it was from the ultrasound.

    I've spotted a little bit after an ultrasound but never anything major or soaking pads

    Not soaking pads at all. I was just down to almost no blood on a pad or panty liner, just a bit when I wiped. Now I'm bleeding on a pad with tiny clots... and the pain is deeper, down more near to my public bone.

    I think that's to be expected. Did you get any pain medication? If you're unsure, definitely call your doctor. That's what they are there for!

    I haven't been given pain medication through this entire process @katempar... so frustrating. luckily that's gone away today. But now I'm feeling fluish so I'm worried about infection. Blech.
