Yes...every day lol today my thoughtful hubby brought by my favorite Mexican take out dish on his quick break from work. So sweet and definitely better than what I usually have!!! Between an 18 month old and a newborn I don't have time for myself.
I have been eating way too many m & ms lately - they are just so easy to grab and eat! At least it looks like you're eating healthy, I need to get better with my food choices.
Yup still trying to eat healthy but usually a mix and match of fruit and nuts, maybe a protein bar or protein shake, or something left over from the fridge. When I was pregnant I was making myself these nice breakfasts & sandwiches for lunch or even going out somewhere by myself...my how times have changed
Cheese it's and muffins are my life. I make 12 muffins every week. For lunch I run downstairs fast to make two sandwiches because I am hungry as a hippo pumping all the time. And he cries and I feel like I'm in a race to survive and get back upstairs.
I was super lucky enough to have a friend prepare me a bunch of single serving meals. That girl seriously saved my butt. My three-year-old and a three week old are definitely making it hard to juggle normal life requirements.
I've been living on eggs, 'cause they're quick to prepare, and cereal. Dinner has been take out or frozen lasagna from the grocery store. I am not much of a cook anyway, and hubby works until 9pm so he's not home to either stay with baby or cook. I did make chicken enchiladas last night and hubby was shocked and very pleased. I got lucky - baby was pretty calm and I could actually prepare a meal!
I am terrible at eating leftovers--they usually just sit in the fridge until garbage day, However, since LO was born leftovers are now the highlight of my day!!
I swear my daughter has a radar that goes off every time I'm about to eat.
When I think he's down for a nap he'll give me just enough time to make a warm meal-- you know, like scrambled eggs, microwaved leftovers, or toast! : ) Heaven help us, however, if I think I'm going to have enough time to make it AND eat it!
