Meals

Anyone else's meals frequently look like this?

Re: Meals

  • Yes...every day lol today my thoughtful hubby brought by my favorite Mexican take out dish on his quick break from work. So sweet and definitely better than what I usually have!!! Between an 18 month old and a newborn I don't have time for myself.
  • Loading the player...
  • I have been eating way too many m & ms lately - they are just so easy to grab and eat! At least it looks like you're eating healthy, I need to get better with my food choices.
  • Yup still trying to eat healthy but usually a mix and match of fruit and nuts, maybe a protein bar or protein shake, or something left over from the fridge. When I was pregnant I was making myself these nice breakfasts & sandwiches for lunch or even going out somewhere by myself...my how times have changed
  • Cold cuts are my life
  • This is my pumping lunch. I'd like to thank my hands free bra for allowing this to happen.
  • Cheese it's and muffins are my life. I make 12 muffins every week. For lunch I run downstairs fast to make two sandwiches because I am hungry as a hippo pumping all the time. And he cries and I feel like I'm in a race to survive and get back upstairs.
  • I was super lucky enough to have a friend prepare me a bunch of single serving meals. That girl seriously saved my butt. My three-year-old and a three week old are definitely making it hard to juggle normal life requirements.
  • Muffins, granola bars and when I get the chance I bake healthy-ish cookies to have at the ready.
  • Thankfully my hibby has been cooking at night otherwise all my meals would be protein bars I think! Glad I'm not the only one.
  • I don't even worry about healthyish cookies at this point lol @ashleytiff I have chocolate chip lovers and like two at lunch.
  • I've been living on eggs, 'cause they're quick to prepare, and cereal. Dinner has been take out or frozen lasagna from the grocery store. I am not much of a cook anyway, and hubby works until 9pm so he's not home to either stay with baby or cook. I did make chicken enchiladas last night and hubby was shocked and very pleased. I got lucky - baby was pretty calm and I could actually prepare a meal!
  • I have been meaning to and AM going to boil some eggs today...love me a hard boiled egg! They are quick, yummy & a good source of protein!
  • I am terrible at eating leftovers--they usually just sit in the fridge until garbage day, However, since LO was born leftovers are now the highlight of my day!!
  • I just cried because my husband left for work before I could eat a real meal with his helP. I'm judging myself.
  • Just had a peach & a protein shake while lil dude naps in his crib, before the next feed
  • My meals consist of water with the occasional protein bar.

Yes my son too! It must be a bay reflex they don't tell you about!

When I think he's down for a nap he'll give me just enough time to make a warm meal-- you know, like scrambled eggs, microwaved leftovers, or toast! : ) Heaven help us, however, if I think I'm going to have enough time to make it AND eat it!
  • This is my baby exactly. She is determined to get my baby weight off of me. It's her evil plan!
