I'm still pretty raw food/no meat but i'm eating more than i was before.
Things i tend to want to eat are veggie subway sandwiches (extra onions and jalapenos), fruit (apples in particular), salads with tart dressings and raw carrots.
One meat i am starting to get reacquainted with is fish, if it's part of a larger dish. Fish cakes and fish chowder are particular favourites.
I can also stomach burgers on occasion. I'll eat 5 Guys when i want a burger. I appreciate the protein boost.
I'm not a huge carnivore so my protein mostly comes from boiled eggs and the odd piece of chicken.
I've been addicted to fresh foods since the beginning of my 2nd trimester. So I have fresh fruit every morning with breakfast, which is normally toast and butter.
I have soup and sandwich every lunch and then normally leftover soup for supper.
@ChiccoBeanz I'm with you I mostly eat fresh fruit, oatmeal, milk every morning. My protein..that's where I go down hill. Usually comes from flautas, sopes, posole, etc. I imagine these aren't as healthy as chicken salad or something like that.
Oatmeal or protein packed cereal with peanut butter toast and oj for breakfast.
Then a snack.
For lunch it really just depends on where I'm at. It's usually something light.
Followed by more snacks.
Dinner is a whole different story and I go all out.
After dinner I have more snacks.
So basically I just snack all day long lol. All of this snacking has not helped because I still haven't gained any weight. I do need to be adding more meats into my diet.

Same!! Veggie subs and apples are two of the things that sound best to me.
Oatmeal, whole wheat bread , cauliflower , LOTS of orange juice , white rice with meat. Salads as much as I can - love Vietnamese lemongrass chicken salads.
If I'm really constipated I'll have a little coffee.
I eat a lot of small things a cereal bar, granola bar or yogurt for breakfast, one of those 3 things for a mid-morning snack, lunch is usually a healthy choice frozen meal or leftovers form the night before, nuts in mid-afternoon, and dinner.
My food cravings, and eating habits, are all over the place. Juat like it was pre pregnancy! But I have learned to watch what I eat...some. ) I normally don't eat breakfast until late. About 10 - 10:30 am. By then, I'm craving a sandwhich, or chocolate! Lunch is sometimes the same. And since I've been craving spicy foods and pasta, that's what I usually get my hands on. I got lucky. I can actually eat spicy foods, and NOT get heartburn! During the day, I just snack on whatever. Chips and Dip, every now and then fruits and veggies. Which I must be careful with, since I get heartburn from fruits and veggies!
I graze throughout the day otherwise things tend to come up (HG). My mainstays are Greek yogurt, fiber cakes from Trader Joe's, fruit (watermelon, grapes, cantaloupe, honeydew, apples & peanut butter, pears, kiwi, and nectarines mainly), low-fat cottage cheese, almond milk and fiber cereal, spinach salads, pretzels, eggs with mostly just the whites, baby carrots with hummus, whole fruit Popsicles, beans, avocado on whole wheat toast, and trail mix. I really don't crave junk food but I do like a little handful of m&m's every once in awhile. Smoothies are also a nice treat DH and I usually get on the weekends. If I go out to eat I try and make sure to get a healthy plate/salad that includes fish or shrimp since I don't eat meat (pescatarian). I get very nauseous if I eat a full meal or anything greasy so it's easy to eat healthy. My eating habits were healthy to begin with prior to pregnancy though. I'm dreading my next OB appointment because I started out underweight and I just hit a 18.5 BMI and I'm 24w2d. I think it's time to get some Boost or Ensure!
