I love them long and hard

My nails that is! They're so healthy and long and strong! I completely forgot about this benefit of pregnancy. Anyone else loving their nails? I usually have chipped stubs!

Re: I love them long and hard

  • I don't see a change in my nails but I'm loving my hair!  Doesn't fall out! Fuller. And I can go longer in between washes.  It's not getting oily.  Love this!

  • I definitely have noticed a change in mine, they are growing quicker and are a lot harder than usual. My only issue is that they are growing too fast and I can't reach my toes anymore to trim them. I guess it's a good excuse to get a pedicure!

Oh shit I haven't looked at my toes.... Oops
  • My nails haven't changed much; they've always grown fast and been pretty healthy. But my cuticles look amazing.

  • @nukke i just wanted to say your frog siggy makes me laugh... it's exactly the same way for my baby and hubby!
  • Yup! Loving the healthy nails! They're usually pretty good but pregnancy has brought on naturally pearly white tips, only minor draw back is the constant filing/trimming so they don't grow into talons, lol!...and the hair growth is outrageously awesome! My hair is so full and thick and barely falls out. I know this will be short lived, I lost a lot of my hair a few months after my first was born, skinny, scrawny ponytail. It did grow back but that baby hair fuzz was an awkward stage to rock.

  • I love how long and strong my nails are right now.

  • I love the headline!!  IJS.

My nails and hair didn't really change much this pregnancy.  Which depresses me, because I'll probably end up still losing hair like I would had I retained it.  Womp womp.
  • One of the first pregnancy 'perks' I noticed was that my nails looked awesome! Strong, shiny and grow quickly. My hair, however, hasn't changed a bit. Maybe a bit more oily than before.
  • My nails are ridiculous. I feel like I'm constantly cutting them (I hate having long nails!). My toes are another story. My new motto is that if I can't see it, it's not happening. Who knows what's going on from the waist down.

Bahahaha, that's pretty much my attitude too.  I shaved my legs today for the first time in two weeks because I was going to get a massage, and I didn't want the RMT to know I was a hobo.
