Crazy constant movement?!

Is anyone else's LO going nuts all the time? She's almost never still. And if she is, it's never for more then 15 minutes. There's no way to even get kinda comfortable because she's constantly.changing positions. I'm 35 weeks, so almost there. Anyone else having this issue?

Re: Crazy constant movement?!

  • Me! Only time he is still is when I'm walking around and even then he will stick a foot in my side every once in a while. You know how horses do that shiver/shake? That's what it feels like this little guy does quite a bit. It's such an odd feeling!

  • My baby girl has decided to never be still. She now wakes me up all night long. My belly looks like it should have a scene in Aliens. I am never comfortable, ever.
  • ^ I'm in the same boat. I can barely remember what it feels like to be comfortable now...
  • My kiddo is doing the same! About a week ago he got big enough to actually bother me haha! Before that it was always cute, now it's startling, uncomfortable, and resembles the Alien scene! I don't complain much but my husband notices and freaks out for me! It's still really amusing and it makes me happy, but I'm in the same boat here
  • Same here and 35 weeks too! Only time she is still is if I get in the pool or bath tub! She seems to be doing Cirque de Soliel or something!
  • Yes! And the worst is when she jams her little feet into my ribs. I have a love hate relationship with her movements. Sometimes I scold her and say "now Izzy, mommy is trying to get some rest."

I say this all the time! I'll be 36wks Friday and he never stops moving. My coworkers get nervous because sometimes I cringe in the middle of conversations because I'm getting kicked in the ribs or they can see him moving through my shirt haha plus the fact we have 3 pregnant ladies in the office, I'm the furthest along, so odds of someone going into labor at work at high haha
  • I'm 34w5d and in the exact same boat. As I'm reading this post, I can see him below my phone going nuts! I agree that it used to be really cute. It went from a butterfly flutter to a battle scene from the movie 300 over the past few weeks!
  • Oh yes! Her movements can be crazy n painful too!
Sometimes when she changes her position in my belly it gives me such a contraction! I can't breathe! N one side of my belly looks all pointy like weird lol
  • Omg yes. My son never stops! And he's probably pretty long because I can feel him everywhere. I told my husband that I imagine him like a hamster on the wheel just going around in circles in there.
  • YES!!! I was just wondering if that's normal too... He is awake all the time, everywhere... In my ribs, an my bladder, in my side - I have no idea what his position is at this point!
  • Yep! I'm 33 weeks and 3 days with fraternal twin girls and they don't give in. Haha there always moving around :)
  • So glad she gave me a break last night, the movement has been keeping me up.
The movement does make boring work meetings a little more bearable. There is nothing like trying to make a serious statement while there is a wild party going on in your belly!

35weeks here, Omg I thought I was the only one with that shiver shake motion. I started to think he was having seizures. Such an odd feeling... Me and my husband call it the Harlem Shake when he does it lol
  • 36 weeks and for the past few days she has moved constantly!
