STM question-- did anyone bleed longer than 6 weeks?

im coming up on 6 week PP, Thursday. had a vaginal birth and on Friday I see my doctor for my 6 week visit. I'm a first time mom so I'm asking STM if anyone bled for longer than 6 weeks.

    I'm a FTM, but LO just turned 2 months. I bled for the full 6 weeks, but was tapering towards the end. My follow up was closer to 7 weeks out and I had stopped bleeding by then.

    My Dr. Told me I should be done or light by 6 weeks apt. He also said I'd be starting my period sometime after. I'm so ready for my 7th week but not for my period after! :((

    I did with my first, I'm 3w PP and I still bleed a lot of bright red blood.

    With my first I bled 8 weeks, my second 1 week and today at 2 weeks my bleeding went from barely there to bright red again. My follow up is at 4 weeks.

    2weeks pp and mine was tapering off and then today, bright red again. DD, I only bled for 2 weeks and it was a vaginal delivery. This time, I had a csection and everyone said I wouldn't bleed as long since they "clear everything out during surgery" and I'm still bleeding.
