Nausea late in 3rd trimester?

I'm just over 38 weeks and all of a sudden I have been experiencing nausea and having first trimester flashbacks! I haven't gotten sick, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I'm thinking maybe it's another big change in hormones? I'm not experiencing any other labor symptoms so I don't think it's that.

I also have had nausea in the past 2 weeks(39 weeks along) just like 1st trimester although I have threw up a few times and never did at the beginning, was hoping it was the beginning of labor but unfortunately not

I am the same way. I was very sick for the first six months so to get rid of nausea and the vomiting was a miracle until the nausea and vomiting returned a couple nights ago. I haven't threw up since that night but I noticed the nausea shows up if I get hot which happens very easy.

I've had it, too. I think it's normal and like you said, probably dealing with the fluctuating hormones.

I'm 39wk3days and had the same thing for last 3 weeks. Never got sick but felt just as nausea as first tri (never got sick in first tri either). It actually got better this week, however, no progress in dilation or effacement so not thinking it has to do with labor. Doctor keeps saying its normal with this heat and being so pregnant. Feel better!

I didn't think about the heat...you're right, that probably is one of the triggers!

Ugh I actually left a really long response before and it didn't fully upload...basically I'm going through the same thing (I vomited 3 times in last 24 hrs) at 38 1/2 weeks but having headaches and mild contractions. Went to the Dr yesterday and she said definitely early labor but could last a week plus. Hang in there soon enough the babies will be here.

I've started feeling nauseous after I eat. I'm 38 weeks + 4 days. I'm not actually throwing up but just feel sick to my stomach. C-section scheduled for next Wednesday....counting down the days!

I have been getting nausea particularly in the mornings for the last 3 weeks. (39wks 4d). Lucky I don't eat in the morning or I would probably puke...
