I know there were a few people on here who were going for it, I'm very curious to see if it was beneficial. I was one of the people who wanted to do it but my baby was sick at birth so it was out of the question.
I did and loved it! It really helped with the hormones in the first few weeks. I was taking the placenta pills twice a day and now I am down to once a day after 5 weeks. I don't know if it was the placebo effect but for me they really helped
I'm taking 4 pills a day. And don't think they do crap. Maybe and that's a big MAYBE they help with energy. But I'm suffering from some bad axiety and PPD. I think I'm going to still take them since I paid for them and they can't hurt. Super bummed about It but hey it was worth the try. Sorry that you couldn't try it.
It's called placenta encapsulation. It's where they dehydrate it and then put it into pill form. The benefits are that its supposed to help prevent ppd, help with energy, increased libido, and overall quicker recovery.
