Tonight is the night!

So lady's im having complications in my pregnancy so we are goin in tonight to be on a medicine to help get my cervix ready.. Than at 6 y inducement happens. I'm 39wks4dys im terrified. This is my first baby. And I wanted to have him natural but I can't. & I don't know what to expect ladies. Any thing you suggestion? Or just advice.

    I'm guessing that you're being induced then and they're starting cervadil? If that's the case, you can still have a natural delivery and even if you decide against it an get an epidural or use other pain management, that's great too. Just try to stay calm and do what you can with different positions to get comfortable and don't be afraid to change your mind either way on what you need in the moment. I always feel better knowing that everyone there just wants me and the baby to be as safe and healthy as possible. Good luck!

    Also, if you search "induction" on this birth board, you'll find some ladies who have already been induced and how it went for them :)

    With my first that's how they were going to induce me but the stuff for my cervix actually started my labor by itself so i didn't even end up having to get the pitocin. Try not to be scared, just remember that either way you will have your beautiful baby in your arms soon! Good luck!

    I'm a FTM being induced as we speak. My cervix was unfavorable so they did a foley balloon and then started pitocin two hours later. I was hoping not to be induced either but you can do it mama!

    Best of luck to you! Just remember that you are doing what is best for your baby by getting induced. Giving birth is one of the situations in which we need to be flexible because there are so many factors that can be out of our control. You can do this!
