Mother of 4 here

39 weeks
So I went to the docs 2days ago and was 3 cm 50 effaced, well yesterday I was having contractions 3 mins apart for 20 mins and went straight to labor and delivery but they just ended up sending me home because the contractions weren't causing me to dilate any further than 4cm and 70 effaced. Any suggestions on how I can hurry this along I woke up dis morning and lost my mucus plug, now I just need to dilate!! Help!

If you have 3 kids then you know that your body will be ready when it is ready. Though it sounds like you will go into labor in the next few days if I had to guess

I don't believe in "home remedies" or "old wives tales". Only your body knows what to do. Trust it.

I don't believe in remedies either. Seems hit or miss for most people who try them. Nothing is consistent. Just try and be patient. I'm completely over being pregnant at this point (39w1d) but I am trusting my body.
