Oh the joys of work.

i work as a CNA in a small assisted living place (only 8 residents). Well today one of the guys (bigger guy about 200+ pounds, in a wheel chair) attacks the owner of the place. I had to call 911. I deal with this guy on a daily basis. I can't even imagine if he attacked me.

My boss was talking about kicking him out and sending him to a nursing home (she has emotional ties to him because they've known each other for 30+ years cause he use to be her husbands partner when they were on the police force) but I really hope she's serious this time because he's a liability

    I don't know what state you're in and the laws there, but I'm in Minnesota and we would call the Vulnerable Adult hotline and/or Ombudsman to try to figure out the most safe place for him. We also have a verse in our lease agreement (I work at an Assisted Living facility as well) that says if a resident poses harm to themselves and/or others, it is grounds for termination of the lease agreement. I personally would definitely give immediate notice to this guy as he poses a threat to others.

    Hope you can get this figured out ASAP before he attempts to harm anyone else!
