Anyone else hit a wall?

I had my shower this past Sunday on Aug 9.. And since I woke up Monday I have been so incredibly sore, weak, have vertigo, and zero energy no matter what I do or eat or how often I sleep. This has not gone away. Is this a normal part of late pregnancy?

I am 34w 2d. My body seem so angry with me. Baby is moving just fine and all seems well with him.. I just feel like I got hit by a transport :|

Is this normal? Anyone else dealing with this? I see my OB next Tuesday. Hoping things are all right.

TIA

  • I've been feeling worn out too, although I'm 36 weeks 5 days. I'm sore, tired, and weak at times as well (I know with me weak is from blood sugar, baby has been sucking it dry from me this time around). I didn't feel like this with ds1 as much, although I wasn't running around after an almost 3 year old.

  • I feel your pain sista. I just have no energy at the end of the day for anything. I try to go to the gym and end up just sadly riding the bike for 30 minutes and running back to my couch and the Bravo channel as soon as possible.
  • You probably just over did it. I get dizzy ands weak and all that after I do too much even though it's nothing compared to what I used to do. It takes about two days of sitting on my butt, drink water and just resting. You may not take 2 days but with a 2 year old I never fully get to sit down haha I'm 34 weeks as well.

I think it is normal, all my pregnancy apps say starting at week 34 you will feel a shift in energy much like the first trimester. Plus, it's been a long haul. These kids are all rapidly gaining weight,.it's so hot!!!!, and our bodies are gearing up for an intense few months. Besides about a month and half of finally having some pep in my step , I have struggled this whole pregnancy with fatigue. I'm a slug. But I sleep better than I ever have in my life being pregnant! I used to have insomnia, NOPE not anymore. Hang in there we are all experiencing strange things!
  • I was just sitting here thinking the same thing! I am 34 weeks, 5 days and I can't believe I have 5 more weeks of feeling so tired! All I want to do is lay on the couch!
  • 34w5d here and I feel like I got hit by a truck!! I'm tired, cranky, sad and my hip is killing me!!! I am officially ready to be done.
  • I'm 37 weeks and I was super wiped out yesterday but probably because I spent 9 hours walking around an amusement park with 9 tween boys on Monday. I felt back to normal today and took the kids for a hike and then the beach.

You're amazing! I got winded walking around Target tonight!
  • 36 weeks and exhausted ... more physically than mentally. It's hard work carrying this baby around with these swollen feet!
  • 36 weeks here and after a day at work I can't do much but sit on couch. Poor dogs haven't received a proper walk in awhile. The fun part is now I have 30 days to find a new house and move before the baby comes. Exactly what every nine month pregnant woman wants to do!
