Did you post about it on FB?
I'm pregnant with my second baby after 17 months of trying. When I first got pregnant, I promised myself that when we found out the sex of the baby I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. I think I just felt silly getting excited about whether it was a boy or girl, considering we'd had a tough time just getting pregnant in the first place.
Anyway, we found out last week we are having a girl. Results of the 20 week scan came back and everything looks great. I've shared the news with a few friends but now I'd really like to post about it on FB. Nothing over the top, just a cute picture of my son playing with a pink balloon, or something. On one hand I'm like, "No, that's silly," and then on the other hand: "How often in life will I get to do this? Might as well enjoy it!"
Re: For those of you who know what you're having...
Wouldn't a simple "it's a girl!" suffice?
