Has anyone taken a at home gender test? It would be a fun option I think, but conflicted because I think I might want to wait until the 20 week mark??

The sex of your baby doesn't show up in your urine. You could do it for fun but I wouldn't go telling people or buying blue/pink based on the results.

I believe most of them state "for entertainment purposes " somewhere in the fine print.

They don't work, so you're not going to spoil anything if you choose to buy one. You're still not going to know until your ultrasound.

As gross as playing with pee is, I am temped to try the baking soda test and the red cabbage test.... Won't go so far as to pay for the gender predictor test though!!

Random funny story about the baking soda....I decided to try it yesterday for funsies, and I was SO excited when it did not bubble or fizz at all. Then when I came downstairs and looked at the baking soda I noticed it had expired over a year ago. Which means I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have fizzed at all no matter what. Oh well, I'll have to try it again when I get some new baking soda!

The only one on the list that was true with me is the cravings. With my 3 girl pregnancies I craved sweets, all sweets. I would make my husband drive to Chili's before they closed for their Molten Lava Cakes. With my son I craved veggies, crab legs and more veggies. This pregnancy I am craving veggies again and have little tolerance for sweets or chocolate. So I am thinking this one is a boy. I have also always had dreams that would tell me if it was a boy or girl, they have always been right. I even dreamt I miscarried and ended up having the mc two weeks later.

That's funny I have had dreams too about both of my living kids and what they were before birth, never had dreams of the two I miscarried but did have a mc nightmare one night which happened! Crazy. This time I dreamed of a little boy before I knew that I was pregnant...we will see!
