Sick baby - T&P please!

Spent the whole night in the ER with LO because she had a 103.3 degree fever :( she was moaning in her sleep and while she was awake because she was in pain. Turns out she has strep throat - or at least that's what our closest hospital. Our nearest hospital (which is nicknamed "the bandaid station" by the community cause they really just patch you up and send you to another hospital) is terrible and we had the worst experience. Went in with a two month old with a 103 degree fever and waited 45 min before anyone came to get us! Mind you there was NOBODY in the waiting room. She ended up starting to have a seizure because her temp was so high due to waiting so long. My pedetrician is not happy and also not convinced that she has strep as no one LO has been around has strep. Going to see her pedetrician at 2 today. She is not feeling well at all and it's so sad seeing her hurting and not being able to fix it. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated. This mama is having a rough time with this.

    I'm so sorry you're going through this. You must be so scared and worried. I hope you get some answers and medicine, and that LO is on the mend soon!!!

    So sorry you are going through this! That sounds so frustrating. It's so hard to see our babies being that sick. Hope they find out for sure what's going on so they can help get LO well again!

    I used to live in a small town and the hospital there was awful! I can't imagine having to deal with that having a small baby. You shouldn't of had to wait even a couple minutes with a baby. Thinking of you! Seeing your little one in pain is just heartbreaking. Hang in there.

    @kaila8 So glad your LO got proper care. Babies this age do not get strep throat and there is no indication to even test for it.
