Spotting and HCG level check

I had light pink spotting most of the day yesterday. I did self-enforced bed rest and it has stopped. My OB is sending me in for a levels check today and Wednesday. I'd appreciate positive thoughts while I wait for the results!

UPDATE: my OB called this morning to tell me that my levels are "excellent" (though I didn't get a number) and has asked me to get an ultrasound after all. It's scheduled for today at 3 pm...

good news! It's normal to be anxious but spotting is fairly common. Hope the U/S goes well!

Hi ladies! I wanted to update you that I had the ultrasound yesterday and it went great. At first they thought they only saw a yolk sac, but eventually were able to find the (hiding) embryo and even a heartbeat. It was 134 bpm. I still don't have a strong indication of how far along I am, but I'm at least 5w5d, up to 6w2d...so we'll see what the OB says.
