Bad infection!

Hi everyone. I have a terrible case of tonsillitis. Spots of pus on my tonsils and painful to swallow - I am on an antibiotics so I am hoping that will help. I'm only two days in. I actually work in healthcare, so I know it's being treated appropriately, but am wondering if anyone else has gone through this or something similar? Thanks!

    I had strep throat when I was 6 or 7 weeks pregnant this time around.  I was put on antibiotics as well plus I had to take Tylenol b/c it was insane how bad I felt.  I had to prep myself to even swallow.  I think I waited too long b/c I thought I just had a sore throat until I felt like I was hit by a semi, seriously

    Hope it clears up fast for you and you get relief soon!.

    Oh that must be so painful. I've had strep before, but nothing with my tonsils, I'm sure the pain is similar. I hope you feel better soon!!
