Any suggestions for acne?

I am almost into my second trimester and I have been getting terrible acne for the past couple months. Will there be any relief as I get further into my pregnancy? Or does anyone have any suggestions or home remedies to help treat acne in the meantime? Thank you!

Re: Any suggestions for acne?

  • My dr. said it was okay to use over the counter treatments including salicylic acid washes and creams. I haven't tried it myself, but I know many women like the belli skincare line.

  • Lurker here from November- nothing was helping mine until a friend of mine told me about sulfur soap- I got it off of amazon and I have no more acne on my back and shoulders. It's amazing- does dry out my skin but lotion is working fine
  • There's a thread on page one with more replies. Can't post the link but it was called something like 'welcome back to our teen years acne'. Might be helpful

I started using coconut oil and is working like a charm.

Here's the other thread that has some really helpful suggestions! Good luck, it should subside as do most of the yucky symptoms!

  • I had that issue in my first pregnancy with my daughter and the only thing that seemed to help was burts bees acne treatments.they are all natural and contain salycic acids so I recommend the wash, spot treatment, the stick and the lotion and if used regularly it should help clear up. Hope this helps!!!
