I keep going to touch my bump and talk to it realising it's no longer there. However I loveeeee my son and so happy I have him in my arms. Enjoying day 2 of getting to know each other
^^^I remember feeling "phantom kicks" right after I had DD. I would have sworn I was feeling her move in there, and I found a post on that BMB about it. It's not uncommon, from what I gathered. I'm sure it was just gas and stuff moving back around, but it would make me so sad!
Hard for me to fathom that right now! I am so fat and exhausted.
This ^^^ x100! Lol I would SOO love to go into labor today and have my baby boy in my arms(and perfectly healthy). But I could see once him being out, eventually missing feeling him kick and roll. I'm a FTM and idk how much movement is normal. But my baby boy is soooo active in my belly on a day to day basis. I alway say he has his daddy's energy level. Hopefully he'll have his mommys love of sleeping at night too. Lol here's to wishful thinking! Lol
I haven't even had her yet and altho I'm soo excited to have her here, I already feel super emotional about not being pregnant anymore!! I'm hoping it doesn't exacerbate when she's actually here! :-/

I would love nothing more than to be not pregnant right now.
OP, I do remember with my first I was always stroking my deflated baby belly lovingly. I always had to remind myself it was just a gut and enlarged uterus at that point
I don't miss being pregnant but when I do get those phantom kicks I still smile and reach down to touch my belly out of habit. It's a hard adjustment after having LO in there for 9 months but having her in my arms is the best feeling everrrrrr
